Description

I was driving west on ne Halsey right above the freeway overpass. As I was driving, I just happened to glance up at the clouds. Right when I did, I bright flash blew up right over the city.
It was so bright, that I was blinded for a second.
The flash apeared oval shaped and the brightest white Ive ever seen. ---definitely not the same color as lightning that I've ever seen before.
I heard no thunder from where I was.
